  3. Thanks guys, the wood is scrap from a table project from years ago, I haven't been able to burn any of it. It's got the best chatoyance I've ever seen, it sparkles like a jewel.

    Jeff, I agree completely, frames are surprisingly difficult for something so simple. I spend a lot of time on my mitre saw setup, and I shape the outside after glueup, so I only need to worry about the inside profile lining up. Any discrepancies on the outside are removed with final shaping.
